Ffolkes Offshore is a valued client that required a crane company to mobilise the Seawell vessel at Ardersier Port. The vessel was one of the first to be welcomed at the now fully operational port.
PSG Marine & Logistics were appointed due to experience and knowledge in lifting operations and heavy lifting. The mobilisation required staff to work day and night to complete the works as swiftly and safely as possible.

PSG provided a Liebherr LTM 1250 mobile crane configured with 88Te of Ballast.
PSG also deployed 2x 16Te Fork trucks to support the operation. The 2x full contract lift teams were assigned to the project. Each team consisted of:

The lift teams worked professionally throughout the mobilisation. Operations were conducted during both day and night shifts. All safety precautions put in place by the client, the port authority and the vessel were observed. The mobilisation progressed in line with the agreed lifting arrangements.
The Seawell mobilisation was completed safely and within the required timeframe. The vessel proceeded to its North Sea project commitment as planned. PSG Marine & Logistics achieved the mobilisation objectives in accordance with the client’s requirements.
